"My therapeutic approach is founded on a holistic blend of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, and expressive arts modalities. At the core of my practice lies a deep respect for each individual's unique journey and inherent worth, driving me to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Drawing from cognitive-behavioral techniques, I collaborate with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, equipping them with practical tools to cultivate healthier coping strategies and achieve their therapeutic goals. I place a high priority on creating a compassionate and validating environment because I am aware of how deeply past experiences affect how we function in the present. By fostering a sense of safety and trust, I strive to empower clients to navigate their healing journey at their own pace, honoring their resilience and strength. Additionally, I integrate expressive arts therapies to facilitate deeper self-expression and exploration, recognizing the transformative power of creative expression in processing emotions, fostering insight, and promoting healing. Through this integrative approach, I aim to journey alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges, supporting them in uncovering their innate capacity for growth, resilience, and self-discovery."

My Philosophy

"Therapy is a safe place to experience and express emotions. I approach therapy with the idea that everyone is whole and possesses the answers to their problems. Sometimes we just need someone to help us out of our own way.

I resonate with family therapies and systems theory which I believe echo Aristotle when he said, "Structure and function lie in nurture." A small tree growing behind a big tree will grow sideways to get light. We all affect each other. Working with the whole family allows us to correct every issues that could be present."
