For my own mental health, it is important to remember to take time for myself. Self-care isn’t selfish, it is a necessary part of being a whole and happy person. Sometimes that means taking the time to read a book or go for a walk, even when my to-do list isn’t done.

My favorite hobbies are reading and building legos. I love getting lost in a good book or relaxing while building a fun new lego set. I also love to spend time with my family and our dogs, we love going for walks and hanging out at the beach. Something fun about our family is our love for all things “geeky”. We love to use Harry Potter or Doctor Who in our decorating

My Philosophy

"Life can be very difficult. Having a safe place to explore and discuss difficult thoughts and feelings relieves some of the stress associated with life. It is my goal to provide a safe place to allow people to talk about difficult things and to feel heard."
